There are two main types of instalments: equal or diminishing.

    - Equal – from the beginning till the end of paying back credit, the successive instalments are the same. The equal instalments are counted by dividing the costs of credit by the amount of instalments.

    - Diminishing – the instalments diminished with the diminishing of debt left to be paid back. In the diminishing instalments the top-most costs of credit are at the beginning, because, paying the first instalments we are also paying back the total interest and the part of capital.
